Who we are

What we collect

• Early-access sign-ups: your email address, when you join the waitlist.
• Contact messages: your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message, when you use the contact form.
• Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider may log your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site running and secure.

We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, and we don't ask for your financial details, trading account or PAN. Accounts don't exist yet — the login page doesn't send anything you type into it.

Why we use it

• To email you when Vanix opens, including launch pricing.
• To reply to your message.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting a form. We won't send you stock tips, trade calls or marketing from anyone else.

Your browser

If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so it's remembered next time. It never leaves your device. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site — our hosting provider and the form service that receives sign-ups and messages — and only so they can do that job. Some of these providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until Vanix launches and we've told you, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. Contact messages are kept for as long as we need to deal with them, then deleted.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
• withdraw your consent at any time — we'll stop using your data and delete it;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf;
• raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Vanix is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us their details, email us and we'll delete them.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we limit who can see the data we receive. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data — for example, when accounts launch — we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be emailed to people on the waitlist.
